The standard templates for AFAS emails are extremely powerful. You can easily use them in all steps in workflows or signals. It is even possible to supplement them with data from AFAS. For example, the name of the recipient in the salutation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, there is a limitation. It remains a standard email. That is why I always receive the same request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A standard template does not always fit... I want to customise my emails myself or decide entirely what I send! <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

AFAS does not offer this as part of its standard package. However, with a simple trick, you can still achieve this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Use the \u201cLast response\u201d data field for your full email address.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Within AFAS, you can use the \u201cLast response\u201d field.
This field was introduced in an update to provide insight into views and emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what if you use this field for your entire email?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the \u201cresponse\u201d part of the workflow suddenly becomes the entire email. And you have complete freedom to type your email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
